This particular patch cord is made with a UL-rated fiber cable most often used in medical applications. It contains industry-standard diameter 1.0 mm plastic optical fiber core/cladding jacketed with a gray polyvinyl chloride material with an overall diameter of 2.2 mm. Patch cords are available in multiple standard lengths and shipped from stock or quickly fabricated from stocked inventory to meet short delivery schedules. They are suitable for all medical communications applications.
